Here are some other ways to deal with touch screen glitches:

One: the touch screen is partially unresponsive

It is possible that the reflective stripes of the touch screen are partially covered and can be wiped clean with a dry soft cloth.It is also possible that the reflective streak of the touch screen has been partially scratched off by a hard object and will not be repaired.

Two: the touch screen is normal but the computer cannot operate

This may be before the host machine starts loading the touch screen driver, the touch screen control card receives the operation signal, only need to restart the power, then start the computer.It is also possible that the version of the touchscreen driver is too low and the latest driver needs to be installed.

Three: after installing the driver, there is no response when the touch screen is started for the first time

First of all, make sure whether the touch screen line connection is correct. If not, connect all lines correctly after shutdown.Then check whether there is any device in the host that conflicts with the serial port resources, check each hardware device and adjust them. For example, after some network CARDS are installed, the default IRQ is 3, which conflicts with the IRQ of COM2. At this time, the IRQ of network CARDS should be changed to the idle IRQ.

Four: no response to touch after using for a period of time

1) check to see if the hard drive is turned off in the "display power saving Settings" of Wlndows 9x.The method is to right-click the mouse on the desktop, select the "properties" command, then select the "screen saver" TAB from the dialog box, click the "Settings" button, set the parameters to "never" except the "power plan" to "always open".

2) in some applications, due to poor grounding performance, the control box shell is covered with a lot of static electricity, which affects the internal working electric field of the control box, resulting in the gradual failure of touch.At this point, use a wire to ground the control box housing and restart.

3) if the above method does not work, it may be that the reflection fringe of the acoustic screen is slightly damaged during the transportation process, which cannot be completely repaired. You can position it in the opposite direction (relative to the direction deviated from the mouse) by equidistance from the calibration bull's eye.

4) if in use after a period of time is allowed to acoustic panel, could be the reflection stripe around the screen or transducer is covered by dust above, if you are using a KA type rack, you can open the cover with a dry soft cloth dips in industrial alcohol or glass cleaning fluid cleaning the surface, again running system, pay attention to the upper left, upper right, lower right transducer can not be damaged, and then restart the computer power and recalibrate.

5) there are water droplets or other soft things sticking to the surface of the touch screen. If the touch screen misjudges that a hand touches the surface and causes the surface acoustic wave screen to be inaccurate, it can be removed.
